To:  Jessica Day, Zak Kruger, Elizabeth Bourton, Nolan Ruud, Kelsey Browning, Kalah Toomey, Julia Hinderer

Opportunity to Present the Biodiversity Project

Waterville School students have been invited to present the Biodiversity of the Waterville Plateau project in Spokane, WA  on May 13, 2009.  The presentation will be held at Gonzaga University and will be given to a large group of students from 10 schools, their teachers and Gonzaga preservice teachers.
We will
ð       travel to Spokane on the evening of the 12th
ð       stay overnight at Gonzaga
ð       present at 9 am on Wed, the 13th
ð       host a break-out session in the afternoon
ð       drive home later that day

We will use the same Biodiversity Presentation that was presented in Hunters except there are changes to the 6th grade slide and the coyote model slide.

Once again you will need to commit to time spent outside of school for writing, memorizing and practicing your part of the presentation.

Consider your expertise, consider the time commitment, and consider how good you will feel when you have done this presentation!  Plus, it will be fun!

Fill out the attached permission slip and return it to me immediately after spring break.  Then I will make a practice schedule and get it to you.  I will also get you information about $ needs, exact times, and other details.  Mr. Grillo will be going along to help chaperone and present at the break-out session.

Mrs. Petersen
